Speakers
Curtis Blyth joined CDK in July 2017 bringing with him 29 years of Automotive market experience. Curtis’s career was initially in various retailer sales and aftersales roles and latterly his background has been in retailer and group management having worked for Dutton Forshaw and most recently Heritage Automotive. Curtis is an enthusiastic believer in delivering great business performance through clear and simple processes that are easy to manage. As Customer Success Manager, together with a small dedicated focussed team of specialists, Curtis aims to improve CDK’s clients’ success in an ever changing Automotive environment. Also working closely with clients the team help to deliver the voice of the customer directly to the heart of CDK’s future developments.
Mike has over 15 years’ experience in the Automotive Industry, having worked for ASE and its’ sister company, Trevor Jones Chartered Accountants. Gaining his accountancy experience at PWC both in the UK and in Canada, Mike joined ASE in 2001 and specifically focuses on dealer profitability, transactional management, mergers and acquisitions and providing commentary on key industry issues, as well as being a member of the president’s committee of the Automotive Fellowship International.
Robin left school at 16 and started as a parts apprentice in a large British Leyland retailer. He then moved to Colin Appleyard Suzuki and worked his way through aftersales and sales before moving to run the dealership and expanding it to four sites. After 28 years he took on the challenge of ‘going it alone’ and bought a Suzuki retailer in Leeds, then three years later he added the adjacent Mitsubishi dealership.
Al has held senior executive roles with Ferrari, Maserati and the SMMT. Al started his career as a journalist and presenter with a decade working for the BBC and in commercial radio.
He has a particular interest in the application of digital technology and connected car services in the automotive industry and regularly speaks at, and chairs events on, these issues.
