Paul Hendy, CEO, Hendy Group
Paul Hendy is chief executive of the Hendy Group, the fifth generation Hendy to head up the company which started back in 1859 and was Britain’s first Ford dealer. Paul’s motoring career at Hendy began with a weekend job before joining full time in the parts operation. During his time with the group he has worked in service department, marketing, sales and aftersales working his way up the group to become chief executive. The company now employs more than 1,850 people and has 60 dealerships representing 19 manufacturers across the south coast.
Stuart Buckley, Founder, Calltracks
Stuart set up Calltracks 12 years ago. The vision was to help businesses pinpoint the parts of their marketing that generate the sales – not just focus on leads that may never convert. Over the years Stuart has worked with many of the top 100 dealer groups and provided valuable, actionable, data to help them grow. His in-depth knowledge of the motor industry and consumer buying journeys mean he will find simple solutions to the complex problems.
Pontus Riska, VP Sales & Support UK, Rapid RTC
Pontus heads up RAPID RTC’s expanding UK team and is an expert in customer experience management with particular focus on the retailer’s initial customer engagement process. With 20 years of experience in the UK automotive industry, Pontus bridges the classic and current retailer environments to bring focus to the ongoing disruption of the Automotive Industry.
Al Clarke, programme host, Auto Retail Network
Al has held senior executive roles with Ferrari, Maserati and the SMMT. Al started his career as a journalist and presenter with a decade working for the BBC and in commercial radio. He has a particular interest in the application of digital technology and connected car services in the automotive industry and regularly speaks at, and chairs events on, these issues.
