Retail figures down as OEMs boost fleet

September saw a fall in retail registrations as the OEMs seemingly moved to address growing demand from the fleet sector. The result was that while fleet registrations increased 12.5% to 101,760 vehicles in September compared with the same month last year, private registrations fell 3.6% from 120,560 vehicles to 116,165.
