Our blog: Spend 30 minutes on Tuesday morning to listen and learn
14 May 2018
As a journalist I have attended countless press conferences but even from the dullest have always come away knowing more than when I went in.
That’s the thing about conferences, you always get a fresh way of thinking. The best are those where you look, listen and learn and later go back to work seeing it with new eyes and asking `Can we squeeze more efficiency here or do better for customers there?’
What I really like about conferences is this. Expertise and wisdom are normally only found among people who have made mistakes, who have years in the trade, who are generally quite bright but have the humility to learn from others. How much easier though to shortcut that process and benefit from those lessons hard earned by others who are now willing to share them with those willing to listen.
All of which leads me to say that tomorrow morning at 9 am you can profitably spend 30 minutes listening to our Auto Retail Live Q2 Briefing.
Broadcast from our London office – so you don’t have to leave yours! – you can listen to speakers who know the industry inside out and who will discuss ideas and ways for dealers to boost their performance in this challenging market.
Our guests are Robin Luscombe, managing director of Luscombe Motors, John O’Hanlon, chief executive of Volvo Cars Reading and Chris Penny, brand director, Auto Trader Group plc.
It’s all streamed to your PC or mobile or available later on our catch-up service, it’s free and all you need do is register to listen.
