Peoples boss: no-deal Brexit is ‘dark side of the moon’

  28 October 2020

A no-deal Brexit and WTO rules would see the auto retail industry “facing the dark side of the moon,” Peoples founder and Ford of Europe Product Panel chair Brian Gilda has warned.

He said a deal was “vital for the health of our industry”.

Mr Gilda spoke as Peoples revealed a fall in turnover from £277m to £242m for the year ended 31 July 2020. Profit before tax fell from £4.6m to £3m.
