Happy new year. I hope you all had a great Christmas and a profitable 2016. Just as 2016 was exciting (sometimes for the right reasons and sometimes not) I expect 2017 to be similarly full-on for auto retail.
Here at Auto Retail Network, were expanding with a new project to help senior auto retail executives with the best information to help run an outstanding business. Auto Retail Live is an online business briefing with some of the best known senior executives in the auto retail industry. We will update you on 2017 sales performance to date, plus look ahead to the future and give you our predictions on where Q1 will end.
The first online 30-minute broadcast will happen on 2 February. Our guests for the first programme are Nigel McMinn, managing director of Lookers motor division; Mark Squires, former chief executive at Benfield and now chairman of the NFDA; and Nathan Coe, operations director of Auto Trader.
