Always nice when you get a reaction to something you’ve written; good or bad, it at least proves somebody’s reading this. So, thanks to those of you who do contact me on a Monday morning with your comments.
Two weeks ago this column highlighted the growing trend towards ‘social commerce’, as evidenced by the growth of Groupon and Facebook Deals. This week, I’ve been forwarded the Groupon deal for Derby on Thursday – it’s an MoT and full 25-point health check from the Co-Op Motor Group for £25 (saving £34.85).
I was too late to check out how many have been sold, so maybe somebody from Co-Op could let me know. We probably can’t claim the credit for this, but I’m going to try anyway!
