NFDA Dealer Attitude Survey to reveal ‘upward trend’
28 October 2024
The Summer 2024 edition of the NFDA Dealer Attitude Survey will be released today (Monday 28 October) at 9am. It is expected to show a general upward trend across most questions, with responses from more than 2,200 retailers across over 30 franchised networks.
There will be significant improvements for some brands, as rankings both at the top and the bottom are shuffled compared to the Winter 2024 edition.
NFDA chief executive Sue Robinson will point to advancements in key areas, including electric vehicles and apprenticeships. However, she will also warn about increasing concerns around profit returns, particularly regarding the EV sector, and will refer to retailer commentary around the limited product range of some OEMs.
Robinson will praise the strong response rates for the Dealer Attitude Survey, which reflects the auto retail industry’s commitment to sharing valuable insights.
Once again, the NFDA worked with Metryx for this edition, with the results presented in a clearer and more concise format.
The survey is being released during a key time for the sector, with the Autumn Budget due this Wednesday and the first year of the ZEV Mandate coming to an end.
