Motorpoint predicts strong results

Motorpoint is expected to announce turnover of around £820 million (up 12.5%) and strong profit before tax when it publishes its final results for the year ending 31 March on Monday.

The UK’s largest independent vehicle retailer said it anticipates profit before tax “at the upper end of the range of current market expectations… in the range of £14.6m to £15.5m, with a consensus of £15.0m”. It also reported increased footfall and online traffic for the final quarter.
